ABOUT
FTCL Jatin Kapoor is internationally recognised as both a virtuoso guitarist and a visionary leader in music education. An alumnus of the Berklee College of Music (Master’s in Music Production) and the London School of Economics (Master’s in Management), he is among the very few in Asia to hold the prestigious Fellowship of Trinity College London (FTCL), one of the highest distinctions in music education.
Over the past two decades, Kapoor has built a career that unites performance, scholarship, and leadership. As a guitarist, he is an award-winning international champion, celebrated for a style that moves seamlessly between funk-jazz, rock, fretless blues, and microtonal traditions. Beyond performance, he has served with distinction in academic and cultural initiatives alongside institutions such as the Royal College of Music, Trinity Laban, Harrow School, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and contributes his expertise to the advisory boards of OFQUAL UK, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and CCEA Northern Ireland.
Alongside his educational work, Kapoor is also a respected mix engineer and founder of a chain of award winning recording studios, credited with major projects for Disney, Netflix, DreamWorks, and Pixar, including landmark collaborations at Abbey Road Studios.
